BUILDING MUSIC
NMAP and Toronto Urban Studies Centre
'Building Music" is a project created by Barry Prophet
for New Music Arts Projects, in partnership with the Toronto
Urban Studies Centre (Toronto District School Board). This
is a multi-media creation program where students create music
using sounds from the urban environment as soundtracks for
slide show presentations of architectural images. Private
and separate schools will also be encouraged to participate.

XENAXIS EXPLAINED
NMAP
A talk on the life and work of Iannis Xenakis by Nouritza
Matossian, a journalist and broadcaster, who is the author
of a leading biography of Xenakis. The talk will be informed
by images and sounds.
